‘Each drawing is done on a single page from a mundane waiter’s pad, usually used for taking orders. The pages measure 66mm by 100mm so each piece requires me to really zone-in to fit all of my ideas onto the available space. That intense level of concentration is a great, and sometimes necessary, form of escapism I often opt for whilst I should be working.’
